[On a fine Friday morning, Slugger stands at the top of his driveway overlooking the perfect yard and perfect street in this perfect 1950s "utopia", and knows that this reality was born of someone else's delusional madness. He yawns. Well, better find some way to kill the time. Not looking back at the house on Anderson Lane, he rolls down the driveway on golden rollerblades and into the street, carrying his warped baseball bat at his side. Some of the drones, recognizing him as their paperboy, smile and wave at him as he passes. He either ignores them or waves back in a ridiculous parody of cheer. He's pretty sure he's killed a few of them at least a dozen times.

Today, Slugger decides he may as well try and find a place in Mayfield he's never been to before and grace it with his deplorable presence. One may spot him skating aimlessly around downtown Mayfield for a short time until he seems to hit on a more specific destination...]


Jacques' Roller Rink 
[The worn, wooden floors make for a relatively smooth skating surface. Slugger can be seen skating forwards, backwards, and sideways on the rink with surprising dexterity. He can also be seen swerving in front of drones and causing "accidents" in the rink. For his amusement, he's made a game of seeing how many people he can trip and knock over at a time. Clearly, he's a menace to society.]

[Hearing the sounds of wheels that aren't his own, Slugger looks around until he spots where it's coming from. He's almost a little surprised to find Ai skating on her own and turns to catch up to her.]

[Hey, guess who noticed you earlier, and decided to follow you when you seemed to find an actual destination.

Yeah, he'll just smile and watch as Slugger knocks people down. It's not like he's going to skate.]

[Slugger doesn't notice Pokey right away, so he goes about cutting people off in the rink until he's toppled a group of three teenage drones all in a pile. Smirking proudly, he then appears before Pokey leaning on the barrier that separates the rink from the rest of the floor.]

[The chubby boy just snickers at the display. Though, he just shrugs in response to Slugger's question.]

[There's a person clapping from the sidelines when Slugger manages to knock over three people at once. Good going, bro.]

[Slugger rolls backward watching with a grin as the drones struggle to get back up again. Their progress is halted when a fourth trips and lands on top of them, adding to the pile.

Funny, he thought he'd seen someone clapping from the side. There aren't many people he'd expect to see that from. Scanning the faces in the sidelines, he then crosses the rink in a short blur of movement and stops on a dime directly in front of Barton. His voice is low and eerily soft.]

[She gives the slightest of starts when he moves so quickly and suddenly. She wasn't expecting that.]

Yeah, guess so. Things finally got interesting. [So she says, flatly.]

[scoots out of the trophy room just in time to see a few drones go sliding across the rink floor and into a barrier wall. wow that is kind of beautiful.]

A shame they can't all be this entertaining.

[Wonder why. Slugger pauses at the edge of the rink to look from Charles to the room he'd just exited.]

They really ought to be careful, this floor is very hard. One of them might split their head. [in which case he would be laughing his ass off.

the smile fades when he glances back over his shoulder.] It was left after the termination of the population control program. Have you not been inside? They've plaques and trophies.

[ also wandering around town, as always. but the moment seki sees that fucking brat go gliding past on skates -- well. he's immediately gonna break into a sprint to try and catch him -- looking for anything in the streets he can grab up and chuck at slugger. ]

[ and then there's just the sound of ceramic scraping against wood as seki grabs up some poor random potted plant off a windowsill and hurls it square at slugger's back. ]

[Mart sees that crazy roller skating kid go by his house, so he decides to follow.... straight to the roller rink.]

[When Slugger spots him, he's of course wearing that same toothy smirk on his face as if it's a permanent fixture. He'll skate by with both hands out, fingers splayed to show Mart that there's nothing in his hands. Not even a crumb.]

[Challenge accepted. Someone's trying to knock you over too, once she's realized what you're doing. It's on, Slugger, as Shana bullets towards him, legs working furiously as she propels herself towards him across the roller rink.]

[What, what is this? There's a tiny girl hurdling toward him? The brakes on his skates aren't enough to stop him on such short notice, so he turns his entire body sideways and comes to a complete stop in time for her to cut him off.]

[ Talk. About. Easy. Kills. Souji is wobbling, slowly moving along the side of the rink. His hand keeps tapping the edge to regain some sense of balance, but it's painfully clear that he's so beginner that it's almost an endangerment to everyone around. Clearly the best thing to do is to knock the kid over so he's no longer a menace to society! ]

[What have we here~? Coming up from behind, Slugger watches the guy clumsily make his way along, then breezes past him easily. However, he doesn't continue too far ahead before turning around. Easy prey is just too hard to pass up.

Without touching the guy or even getting too close, Slugger stops in front of him along the side of the rink and simply makes an obstacle of himself.]
