Mr. Liebert, you have a book for me?

[Action |  726 Anderson Lane.  After the call has been made, Slugger awaits the arrival of his schoolteacher, much to the soon-to-be-dismay of Edward.

[Also action |  That evening, there comes a knock on the door at 1451 Mitchell Road. If no one should answer, Slugger will do the honorable thing and invite himself in by stepping right through the front door.]

[Slugger doesn't like this answer, but so often the correct answer is the one that's least favorable. After a moment's thought, he looks up at her again with a subtle bow of his head.]

That's all I wanted to know.

[Touching the bill of his cap, he turns to go.]

Ja mata ne.

[She nods again. Then pauses.]

...are you doing anything now?

[He pauses mid-step when Ai speaks again, and looks over his shoulder as he considers the question. He was just about to go home where he would probably receive an earful from Edward about not letting Johan into the house anymore...]

No.

Do you want to go to the park?

[identity profile] strike-you-out.livejournal.com 2011-02-03 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[With a shrug of his shoulders] Sure.

[identity profile] miss-enma-ai.livejournal.com 2011-02-03 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[She'll walk outside then, closing the door behind her and walking over to where Slugger is standing.]

[He waits a moment before stepping down off the front porch. He'll be able to keep pace beside her because he's wearing shoes instead of skates. Evidently, rollerblades are not impervious to things like snow and freezing water. His bat, however, remains at his side.]

[Two quiet "children" walking down the street then.]

[It would seem that way. And if they pass any charred remains of her outburst from two weeks ago, he makes no comment.]

[Yah...that wasn't a fun time.]
